now now....if you read the passage carefully I think that you'll agree all is in order and as it should be....

....besides should an artist add color to a finished work simple because someone suggests it?! Should a sculptor make one more hammer blow to a finished sculpture? Should a writer's PeN scribe one more word to the page of a completed story? Absolutely not!!!
