My personal opinion : Girls/ women 
But for the reason that they are clearly in the minority, boys/men are doing better.
When you join as woman a game like this, so like I did 3 years ago, you have to proof yourself a lot. When you want to gain some kind of respect, you have to be MORE active and/or MORE smart or on any other way just being better than a lot guys.
Many girls leave the game right after a few days...
But those who stay are often leaders of an alliance and have quite a strong personality. I don't know if this is what the game make of us or if we stay here because we are like that.
For sure you need a special kind of confidence and stubbornness as girl on BD.
And this are 2 reasons why they do good.
