At the beginning of era, you have the option to break out from protection for 300metal and production boosts. I decided to break out of protection and I didn't get 300metals. This happened to my member also.

This is no bug. You will only receive a 300 tick production boost for metal and oil if you break protection at tick 1.

If you break protection later, then you will have less production boost ticks.

"300 metal and oil" production boost ticks. "300 metal and oil" is together. Not "300 metal" and "oil production boost ticks".

To break it down, 300 metal production boost ticks and 300 oil production boost ticks.

it means that u will get nothing instantly, but ur production will increase 50% for 300 ticks.

Aye, "300 metal and oil production boost ticks" means that you get 300 ticks of both metal and oil production boosts (valued at 400 tokens for both) not that you get 300 metal and 300 oil. Since 300 metal & oil is worth 21 tokens and the boosts which you're given are worth 400 I don't see why you're arguing. =|
