where are FPM and AL>

FPM chat is pretty dead. We've not played together in a while, people got things to do tried playing other eras previous to this but there were too few FPM players for it to be FPM, so we're waiting before we play again

I was wondering the same thing myself. Even messaged the AL leader on Skype, but no response Shame, AL had some real good names in there... was really looking forward to seeing them play... Hopefully they'll join late though.



Shame You should get together whomever you can and play though! And you don't have to be FPM if you're worried about not being "FPM". I think the more competition overall for this competition, the better!

Well it seems we already have one team trying much harder (or rather boosting much harder) than anyone else. Hopefully that just puts a big target on their head though.

Conquers and crystals count for so little of the score. You don't even have to kill the biggest target in order to ensure your victory. Killing the smaller targets over and over again would yield more points. Just saying that if you 'gang up' on the big guy, you could lose out on valuable points as they get to fight 2 people at once for more points.

Though, I'm not promoting farming! As stated in the rules, if all 10 members are conquered, or deemed defeated by contest admin, they have 150 tick grace period where attacking them will not award any points (to avoid beating a dead horse to death). This will hopefully promote perseverance as well. I've noticed MANY alliances lately give up the second they start getting conquered. There was a time when alliances would get conquered over and over and continue to rise and fall. This contest will hopefully help bring a little bit of that mindset back!

And as for the alliance boosting, it only means there's more units for you to kill (and gain points from!). Happy huntings people

Malice, just for future reference, some competition teams are using subs, so if we kill and conquer a competition team's sub we are awarded points for that as well right?

On this era of F3 my team was conquered and killed at about tick 750 or so by a team who was boosting an insanely large number of tokens. At tick 1600 we launched an attack on them (they had 2x our power) and had ALL my members been active we could have killed some of them. We had many of them on the ropes and they slipped out of our grasp. We ended up running out of oil and had to suicide
