Agreed. More details would be helpful as this would help solve the issue without giving anyone a significant advantage.

the idea is simple.

every tick your squad is on a non-allied/owned target, you'll lose 1 random unit in it.

forcing you to move your armies away or risk losing all your troops due to starvation if you leave them indefinitely.
