The score is computed based on the difference of the cost of units in both armies which survived the battle. So when you reduce the total cost of one army, then even if it performs better, the score will be lower... So i guess i have to change the scoring system based on the damages done...

EDIT: Okey, this should work (pseudo):
Code:
if a wins:
   a_cost / a_orig_cost
else:
   - b_cost / b_orig_cost

where cost is the value of the army after the battle and orig_cost the value before the battle...

Good point on that... So, the [22, 4.4] does not seem to catch [20, 10] even at 500%, although the difference is minimal... Guess i should try every build with the same cost instead... Anyways, here is the code: http://pastebin.com/LutgLRLH

The score is now in range of -1 to 1, where -1 is loss without dealing a single point of damage, 0 is a tie and 1 is flawless victory.

Wait what? I don't see a problem. Score is calced using survivors of the battle...don't see how initial army affects that.

Take a look at these two battles:
30A vs 5A with score of 28.75
100A vs 5A with score of 98.75

Do you see the problem? the 100 man army does not perform THAT much better than a 30 man army. Both lose 10 points of hp... So with the new scoring system (i updated the last post), the scores would be:

30A vs 5A with score of 0.958333333333
100A vs 5A with score of 0.9875

EDIT: By the way, if you take the damage build with cost of 45 and balance it the same way to 60, you will get 13A;27D;0R, which wins against the pro build with score of 0.5131396957123099 (i like precision :))

:S

ugh python looks so simple. :) Nicely done Dolkar, so I think the conclusion is probuild is the best? I think it would be fun to render a graph putting outnumber v score for the top few builds...but oh well. Thanks again. :)

You mean imageshack? That's where I uploaded it... Tinypic does not allow thumbnails - the image is pretty big. But I have no problems viewing it there...
