Are you saying that all mature BD players are supporters? So you're saying I'm not mature. Supporting BD doesn't make you mature, (as shown above) either. And admins aren't restricting them from using their money. They just want things to be fair. cosmin1980 wrote: BD admin reasoning never ceases to amaze me...Michael must really be into S&M and bankruptcy otherwise I cannot possibly understand why he would condone such clueless detrimental actions that will lead to his hard built business falling apart. Odd. Why do you think the business is falling apart? It's done great and people still like it. Some people might not agree to the updates, but at least it makes it harder for supporters and gives them a challenge. If you can't handle a challenge, then play an easier game. Like Pokemon

The game is meant to be won by outsmarting your enemy, not by your enemy going offline for 2 hours and missing an attack. Oh I get it now but why not 1/2 tick worlds? It doesn't fit with the current system. It could be changed. But adding another tick speed MIGHT not be what we're looking to do when we're trying to get less worlds.

Good point. But with growing number of active players, you might need more worlds actually...

Complain of the update.
"extended time" on buildings and such...
Making tank structure takes one full day (level 4 building)
Making energy 5 structure takes 3 full days (level 5)
Is that not going a bit too far?

Those people you mention are also the kind who only win by enemy inactivity. It turns BD from a strategy game to an action game. That's why single tick are better... a 2 hour per tick world would be even better.

@psg188: Kane, i have to disagree. as simmens pointed out, people dont like the 1 tick worlds because they don't have the patience (like me ) But that doesn't necessarily mean they win because their enemy is inactive. I've fought and beaten alliances that have never seemed to log off because we lured them into spy traps and other such maneuvers. People say BD has absolutely no skill involved, yet I have, as well as many others i'm sure, have won by out smarting and out maneuvering their enemies.

Code, I agree witih you I just don't have the time to wait 3 hours for my fleet to land on someone's colony/outpost and decide my next move. I'd rather wait an hour.

Kev- people can be just as inactive on 1 tick worlds. Your logic is based on nothing. alliances go inactive all the time on 1 tick worlds. 2 ticks is where the competition is at right now. and always has been.
Make less 1 tick worlds since only 1-3 alliances ever play them. 2 ticks have how many top alliances compared to 1 ticks?
