Hello there.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Ion Cannons!

Okay. First things First. You've built the Ion cannon, Great! Now you need to learn how to use it ^.^

Here's a Key concept to understand: If you are being attacked by around 20-30 more units than what's in your base, the Ion cannon will NOT be a deciding factor.

FACTS.
-The Ion cannon Lowers 10 random units to 1 hp
- The Ion Cannon Destroys nukes
-The Ion cannon costs 250 Energy to fire.
-The Ion cannon Delays one unit affected by 1 tick

Now for tips, (Proper usage)
Honestly, this will NOT be a deciding factor in a battle. It's a waste of energy against Units.
Though if you've got a nuke coming at you that needs shot down, it CAN be a deciding factor in the battle.

Thats it for now
Thanks,
-Quentin

you forgot about the part where ion cannons make 1 squad -1 eta. so it separates the squad from the pack

So it's basically a Anti Nuclear device...
though I can see using it a few other ways. But the energy cost is a lot ><

It can be a huge decider in battles.

Just not huge ones.

I've won relics, including my 10 relic round with an ion or 2.

Say they have 20 tanks and you have 15-30 vechicles or 20 tanks yourself and your attacking.

A complete tossup battle quickly turns into one you shall surely win.

Or with 2 ion's 10 tanks, can kill 20.

Normally it is much cheaper to just use more units.

However especially now with allies unable to hit targets at the same time without fighting a battle for spoils, ion'ing to help an ally, or even befriending your conquers, you could get them to help you out with no expense to yourself.

Word it how you wish, or just let people read my post but those may be strategies you'd like to include.

i had a fight, my units were all inf, i had 60 veh and 10 tanks coming for me, some one in my alliance used ion cannon, we were lucky and the tanks got hit, saved ALOT of inf with that one shot, especialy cuz the tanks were the only anti inf unit he had and they were the only good units he had, all in all he lost more units then me and the guy in my alliance and he was veh and tank and we used mostly inf and were unsecure if we wanted to take the battle at all
