Alright so this next article is to cover the aspects of building and using an army. The "Fight for spoils" below refers to the new feature that when 2 or more non-allied(Meaning from different alliances) players attack a target at the same tick they will first team up and fight the defender together, then the 2 strongest armies will turn and fight each other, the victor will get the outpost, conquer, crystals, etc..

Things that must be included in the article:

-Costs, stats and training times of all military units.
-What structures open up better chassis & upgrades.
-Information on attacking and defending and make sure to include the new feature of the "fight for spoils".
-Detailed description of how units are targeted in battle, feel free to reference the old guide article(http://guide.battledawn.com/index.php/B ... _Targeting) for a comprehensive explanation.

Recommended to include in the article:

-Tips for effective squad building, list at least 2-3 different squad builds with pros and cons for each.
-Pictures of each unit.
-Tips for effective offense and/or defense.

Please post a reply if you are planning on writing a guide for this topic and/or if you have any questions about it or need any clarification. This article will be a bit longer to write I believe so I will accept submissions up until the end of Tuesday.

Happy writing!
-Andrew

Fight for spoils? Sounds like we won't be able to join forces anymore to fight a common enemy or goal.

You still can, fight for spoils doesn't occur if the other players attacking with you are in your alliance.

That's what I mean, you can't have more than one alliance join forces on the attack, cuz you will then turn and fight each other.

Yes, you will lose your units as in a normal fight.

If you hold CTRL and click on multiple units you can put them into a squad all at once, yes.
