Greetings!

The following updates will be released this weekend:


1) You will not be able to trade resources gained through boosts.
2) Emergency metal & oil boost cooldown reduced to 1 tick
3) cannot launch spies & nukes on admin controlled targets (no more attacking of relics and garrisons by nukes and spy attacks)
4) nukes will kill 10% units also of "running away" squads up to 1 tick away from the target radius (increasing their damage potential and making them more lethal)
5) cannot build level 4 & 5 structures while the ticks are paused.
6) Rules change: There will no longer be a rule against "Token Farming", sending tokens to other members of your alliance for them to purchase the boost and trade it back.

I like it. Nice job. Although not being able to nuke relics is a bit ehhh for me. As long as you can nuke them when other players control them. :)

Why exactly is that implemented? You already slapped the extended building times onto us for the structures that really matter (Gates, Nukes, Ranged units), so why diminish the advantage of being one of the first one on a server even further? Also, this disrupts the tutorial process for newbies; what would they do if they're asked to build the first metal mine or oil mine?

The point of that is to offset the emergency boosts having a 1 tick cooldown.

I would prefer it if only lvl 4 and 5 structures can't be built while ticks are frozen, but w/e.

Now I can build a colony and build L1 of structures and go back the next time and ticks will resume and I'm still at L1 structures!

Too bad ticks resuming is random due to admins activity which is slacking at most.

I'm still a little unconvinced. So while we're stuck with nothing, the boosters are racking up up to 8k of each resource to unleash on us once the ticks flow? Competition looks a bit lopsided there.

Michael i propose a compromise:

During the frozen ticks you can only build up to the level 3 structures. Seems fair, doesnt make anyone too teribbly overpowered either.

only problem i have with this is that to have a good start you have to stay awake at the beginning to build structures immediately...trying to make a community of zombies Micheal? :P dont think you thought this through (no offense i know you are doing your best)
