You don't have to sign up. And you can even sign up after the era starts at anytime you wish truthfully. It's only that if you don't sign up, you aren't in the runnings for this contests prize. So sign up and create BED

Yes, it is havoc now, but I am unsure if how long havoc will be. Also, even if you do come a little late into the era, i'm sure you could find a team and join up still. As long as you're in before tick 100 I believe it won't make too much of a difference.

It is just specific members of the BD community who have volunteered to help keep track and organize this event. The admin's for this contest are myself, Vault Dweller and Kenny. We also have two mods as well who are helping with trying to keep things organized in the forums.
