Hello guys! Recently a new project has been in the works called the Battledawn Tribune! The Battledawn Tribune is a monthly newsletter that will be posted on the forums for everyone to see that will include sneak peaks, comics, and many other things. However, there is no way this newsletter can continue without you guys. It's almost impossible to find enough writers as well as editors and judges. Then, we thought of an idea. How about have the community be our writers and we'll be judges and editors? It works out quite nicely! The best part about this!?

You get rewarded with bonus tokens for every article you write that makes it to the Newsletter!

Yes, you read that right. You will get bonus tokens for your excellent writing. Currently, we need 4 articles to be written for the month of September. So I'm counting on you guys to pull through and write some articles for us.

War of the Month

In the month of August, many wars raged through Battle Dawn that seemed to shine out, and dazzle all with the armada of squads & skies filled with nukes. That is why, you, the writer, the documenter, must revitalize the epic moments. Include screenshots of the glory, massacres, and of course, the fall of an empire. Try to make it as interesting as possible, with spiced vocabulary, the politics behind the war, and of course, pictures. Try to be as unbiased as possible, and get both sides of the war, to keep it interesting. There is no limit to your article, cover as much as you can.

Bonus Tokens to be awarded: 30-100 ( Depending on the quality of the article to be determined by Steven and Seth. )

Interview a Staff Member

Do you know your staff members? They are the shady service-doers safeguarding the sanity of the symposium, secretly yet sharply. Surely, they are the staff members! See what I did there? How well do you know, these “staff members”? They lead unknowing lives, for we all ponder, “What do these guys do, and how did they get here?” Well, it’s time to know! Pick any staff member, admin or mod, and interview them! Ask how they found Battle Dawn, how they became a staff member, ask them anything at all! Just try to keep a steady topic, and make it interesting. All unnecessary information will either be removed, or edited.

Don't be shy to talk to them! They don't bite...hopefully.

Tips & Tricks

Many new players have no idea what to do and how to play, and would be grateful to have a professional's take on what to do. In this article, the writer must make a list or make a guide involving tips and tricks that will help out new players. The most helpful submission will be the submission that will get in. Please DO NOT steal another person's guide. We will be checking your submission with every guide we can find on the forums. If you are caught plagiarizing, you will be banned from EVER writing again, and will be disqualified on the spot. Also, you may not post a guide that you have already made unless you have made obvious edits to it and perhaps lengthened such guide. Be sensible please.

I am really interested in this I am good at at stuff like this with the exception that I cannot spell if my life depends on it but then again thats what spellcheck is for (although spellcheck is far from perfect)

I dont like the current topics tho mabey jokes but for now I will keep an eye out mabey make one for october

There is no deadline that I can tell, when should we have our articles written by. I've already finished mine, but want to know how long I have for proof reading and editing.

We won't release the first issue until September, as far as I know. Which means you got at least 4 days

Wish I knew this earlier as I just saw a battle that could have been written about.. well it can still be written but no pictures.

Could BD put some stats on the newsletter? Either on each server or all of BD... the most active player, number of battles fought with 200+ units or whatever, most conquers.. you know things like that.
