Did you miss the part where I said that the amount is negligable? That means you will still be able to get tokens from voting, even if it is one or two less per vote, and you will ALSO get the benefit of the daily bonus.

Like I have said several times, the amount of tokens which will be removed from voting are negligable, and will be balanced out quite effectively by the daily boost which also goes in with this update. So, you might lose a couple of tokens, you gain resources by means which did not exist before. You are quite effectively making a mountain out of a mole hill.

the daily bonuses dont count in this bec. boosters will also benefit so its as if you increase te amount of resources gained per tick if you divide the bonus sources with ticks in each day so still a bigger gap bet. boosters and non boosters

and guys it isnt about who has money and who doesnt its about who chooses to boost and who doesnt i can boost but choose not to and im not from first world countries lelouch but i can boost but i choose not to spend money on games

I dont see how it is about who boosts and who doesnt either way.

Even tokens from voting are also just as available to supporters as to non supporters. There is nothing taken or given to them that isnt taken from or given to everyone else equally.

Seth, it actually does make a difference - even when you treat redboosters and non redboosters the same.

People who don't boost reds will save up their blue tokens to use on an era when they want to be competitive and play for a win against top alliances who are boosting reds. Now, you are taking away blue tokens and replacing them with resources that cannot be saved up from one era to the next.

YES, boosters and non alike both are able to save up blue tokens, so theyre still treated the same in this regard - but as you can see from the criticism here, regardless of whether or not its "fair" on paper, the non boosters still FEEL like they're being edged out of the game.

Think about what would happen if you took away blue tokens altogether...Let's say a paying member uses 2,500 tokens (2000 red and 500 blue) in an era, and a non paying member get 500 blues for an era. Then, all of a sudden you're going to say: Boosters get their 2000 reds, but nobody gets any blues, so now non-boosters get no tokens at all. Even though it's FAIR to both sides, the non-boosters feel gypped, because you have taken away their only way of boosting.

So now, look at what happens. Each non-paying member now gets fewer blues to use on an era, and it takes longer for them to save up those blues to use on a winning era. The blue tokens are replaced with resources that have to be used in the current era, and the player will have to make due with whatever resource you choose for him/her, unless I am misunderstanding the update...?? Are you saying we will be allowed to choose what kind of prize we get every day? Because that's what we do with blues, we get to choose workers or metal or energy.

And don't forget - you're giving the red boosters a FREE 200 red tokens now when they boost. There's no reason to try and make excuses about how the game is fair to everyone, when the updates are blatantly in boosters favor. regardless of the taking away blue tokens for each vote, you're going to then ADD 200 red tokens for free to anyone who boosts? I know, the game needs money to be run, and it's a business like anything else - but at least then tell us that's whats happening and don't try to sugar coat it like we can't see what's going on.

At least someone gets it. The way things are going, it seems sometimes that people care more about blue tokens then playing the game. Because, quite simply, if we cannot fund this whole operation, it completely ceases to exist.

Look around at the free to play game models everywhere else. Find me one that nerfs supporters as much as we do? Each and every time we reward them, everyone else gets all crazy on us for it.

We are not trying to "edge non boosters" out of the game. We are simply trying to keep things going. The other alternative is to make the game a subsription only game.

Yes, I understand this. However, unless this bonus gives you however many tokens you will lose because of #2, its worthless. And as everybody pointed out, it's worthless anyway because the big boosters get the bonus as well.
