Someone said in chat that if you "keep your units on a barracks they wont cost food"... what did he mean?

i see no out post our place to put units called "barracks"..

did he mean settelment? colony? training base?

food was removen in the new client, they were talking about the old, if you play ned u don't have to care about it ^,^
