It reduces units on the locations HP by 1 each tick. If their HP is at 1 it will stay at 1.

ok. so it does not matter if the units were there before the nuke or dragon hits.

Even if new units arrive to a location that has firestorm or radiation they will also suffer that same fate?

I just want to make sure.

If the units are there before the dragon/nuke hits, they will be reduced to 1hp. The radiation will keep them at 1 hp till the radiation ends (a unit regenerates 1hp a tick if it has lost any, when docked on an outpost or colony).

If a unit lands on the op after the nuke has hit, it will lost 1hp a tick. However because they've not been nuked they will start losing HP from their max HP for as long as they are in the radiation :)
