If the pursuit of your own purpose becomes your purpose, is that good by normal conventions or just circular reasoning? If you are an Absurdist, and you believe you cannot humanly obtain your meaning to life but still pursue it anyway because you are human, are you simply contradicting yourself or giving yourself a temporary purpose that may become permanent? I dunno, I'm just rambling here, but I'd like to hear your opinions on this. (BTW, I'm not even sure if I used the term circular reasoning correctly.)
Would like to see some feedback

I read camus some years back.. Absurdist doesn't pursue meaning of life.. For them life may have a meaning or may not.. but they don't care as for them life itself is too absurd to understand that.

But as humans, we always search for a meaning in life even though we may or may not know we may find it. Even if it is humanly impossible to gain a purpose, does the pursuit of purpose becoming your purpose end up being circular reasoning?
-thanks for replying

yes our biggest philosophical mystery has always been meaning of life. pursuit of purpose becoming your pursuit kind of becomes circular reasoning which is a logical fallacy. but it's like camus said in myth of sissyphus, sisspyphus rolls the stone with all his effort to top of the hill only to see it roll down the hill.. but he again must roll the stone back to the hill..
are you studying philosophy or just thinking

p.s. u r welcome.. mind you i'm not gud in philosophy.. just that i've read a few books here and there..
