Corruption in the government these days is unbelievable, in Australia here, they build a toll road and say we got to pay it for 10 years and it'll make the road pay for it's self, after the 10 years was done the government put up the prices of the toll road. They put the prices up for everything and lower the pay checks making it harder for everyone to do anything these days then they say there's a crisis in the economy because no one is out doing stuff.

That is corruption, corruption would be the toll being privately owned and then the businessmen BRIBE government officials to modify the words of their contract/renew it so that the tollway continues generating income for the business owner. Keyword here is bribe.
Only responding because im australian too.
I dont understand what you mean by "putting up prices" prices are dictated by the free market.

The definition of corruption in my opinion, in the case of public entities, is any favoritism/enabling made by a public entity in exchange for a compensation that wasn't due.
Corruption is a trade coin, is a networking value, and will never be vanished from our society.
It's something we'll have to live with it, and learn to deal with it, and would be better to try not feeding it.
