In theory it should work. But I highly doubt it will. A lot of battle hugs come from alliances not ranked in the top 3 and those alliances already get nothing, so handing over relics to the dominant alliance works best for them so they don't have to fight. Its a good idea, but it wont work.

Dont like it. Not everybody boosts lots of reds, and a lot of players need those 2nd and third place blues to be competitive on other eras and boost. I think getting ride of third place may be good, but eliminating second is a bad idea.

but for the folks who have never heard of highlander.. there does need to be more competion between groups, and it might even allow the odd surprise group to slip in
