life is so valuable

Aren't there like, over a gazillion different life forms alive on earth at the moment? And aren't zillions created, and die each day?
We need to kill plants and animals for food, and bacteria to stay healthy.
Life is no more valuable than any other complex series of chemical reactions.

dude you can't be serious with this.

Why not?
Can you prove that life has any inherent value whatsoever?
If this was just an issue of life being valuable, then chopping down the thousands of living plants to feed one person would be more of an issue than the life of one person.

People are valuable, but they themselves own that value, so can do with it what they want, which should include dying if the choose.
If someone else owns the value of that person, and can dictate how they live and die (or in this case, not die) then that's akin to something like slavery.

This is a poor argument that the vox populi would never accept. Even though I essentially agree with you; until you are able to sum it up in a way that uses more plausible rhetoric that is back up by facts, a good vocabulary, and questions that make people re-consider their morals, I don't think this will get you anywhere.

But I find that when I do, people don't replying to me.

Okay, answer this question then- what gives you the right to tell me how to live (or not, as I see fit) my life? (given that it doesn't harm you).

i don't think anyone has that right.

About the other post, i don't really know philosophy or say some complicated logic stuff to "prove" that life is valuable. I think of it as an intrinsic thing that's just is.

I wouldn't feel the same if it was a person. I value a human's life above any other being, dogs, cats whatever.

Its alright to put down the family pet, to "end their suffering" but we cant even acknowledge human suffering is equivalent.

Death comes to everyone and it seems to be people unwilling to accept that death occurs and string along grandma to the very last thread of life, after every single ounce of pain could be felt, does nature finally win and you have earned what, 7 days with a barely lucid corpse that doesnt recognise you, that needs attending by 4 people daily just to take a dump.

That said, Euthanasia has to be strictly controlled. It needs plenty of fail safes to prevent legalised murder for inheritance. It needs to be voluntary for doctors, not all hospitals may have people willing to execute people painlessly without taking an emotional beating. Last thing you want is a rushed procedure full of loop holes and dark undercurrents behind every death and passing.
