And if you don't have enough armour you then pull, since you sure as hell don't want to be losing range units with experience... works both ways.

Also your costs for bringing to armour to the fight costing oil/e? What about replenishing the armour you just lost to the fight... won't that cost too?

I reckon it's more of a matter of preference on this one.

I just can't picture having to have at least 2 squads in on every attack, that is what this does until you get at least R4. There is also the fact that since you now have your armor in a block rather than divided you will tie it up needlessly which may cause you problems.

and btw another question since i don't want to create new topic and spam the forums. what are the effect of a nuke/firestorm on a colony/op. I notice it has effect that lasts for 3-6 ticks or correct me if i'm wrong.

Nukes weaken all units in the colony to 1 hp, kills 10% of the workers, and cause radiation which subtracts 1 hp per tick as long as in effect. On an op it does not kill the workers of the owner. Firestorm weakens 10 random units to 1 hp on an op or colony, if the firestorm is used on a squad in flight it will weaken all units in 1 squad to 1 hp and delay it by 1 tick.

Im not 100% sure about this but I think a firestorm is also what radiation is called on fantasy.
