I mean come on. "Save blues"? Win blues. I strongly disagree with the new token update. I don't see what strong argument put this back in place. But I'm sure soon enough we'll go back to seeing the same amount of battle hugs as before. If not a larger increase.

apparently e4 has gone unnoticed , the change made this erra crazy since rewards for 2nd & 3rd were takin away , .. now its back to same old BS i guess ?

i dont understand , it was *censored* working !!!

The changes were made because of the big picture, and not because M2 or right now E4.
All in all, our data about player behavior and also their comments showed us, that removing it completely wasn't the right choice.
We strive to provide all players a good game experience. I'd love to see less battle hugs and more wars, but it seems that doesn't depends that much to the tokens we give out.

i dont see how you came to that conclusion .. it hasnt even run a complete erra yet before you changed it back .. and e4 right now was a mad house , some players have over 10k killed units and its still in the 500 ticks .. because everyone wants to be number ONE !!! kiss that goodby i guess .. now everyone wants to settle 2nd & 3rd again and just try to be friendly bob's biggest family wins movie again !!!

im so disgusted im beside myself with issues over BD atm

i can tell u for a fact E4 would have been completely different if we had 2nd place awards then. I for one would not have fought, nor would have most of WCA. that leads to us just boxing in our zone, and their sub being able to help them. that then goes over to KILL/TiB all dead, KM monopolize the world, same old same old. i think there is 1 fair thing. remove rewards for 3rd, make rewards for 2nd only 500. so people have no reason to just sit there

And yes, the reward for being the top alliance is still 3000 (+500 for all relics), the other rewards are just on top of that.

I'd like to ask as a player and a mentor, what good argument or arguments were made this switch. I read through 30+ pages of arguments for AND against the tokens being removed.

As a mentor what would you like me to say when my newb asks me when "How come the token rewards came back halfway through my era?" What do I say? How do I explain.

well playing this era(no tokens for 2nd and 3rd) felt somewhat interesting cause everyone was trying to go for top spot, ask top alliances how hard it was for them to achieve the top spot , but looks like admins want to keep BD boaring , its just like breaking 1/2 of worldcup trophy and dividing it into 2nd and 3rd ranked teams in 2:1 ratio. BOOOOOOOORING
