Nothing to lose. You would win eventually anyway. We assumed you wouldn't be bad enough to succumb to spy attacks or nukes, and we attacked with almost the whole alliance, so wasn't much else to do. We were not serious from the start anyway.

What did you expect?

Haha, well, knowing how much you love Jewelry, Michael added some true gems to damage. In the terms of guns, that is.


Damage now outpowers range significantly from round 2 and you now can kill a range army by a damage army at 70% of the cost without losing more then armour.


That said, Range is still superb for pocketing and Damage is pretty much only useful in non-perfect (2 rounds or longer) battles and when upgraded (Range 4 was reintroduced at level 6, Range 5 is still at level 12). It all depends on your judgement of how you will be playing, whether it's useful for you or not. When fighting an overpowering amount of alliances I can't recommend it, but in equal strengths I certainly can. Not only because it will make winning the battles significantly easier - but also because EXP is a lot more important then it was when newly introduced on NC and one can argue losing armour in trade of EXP is more then worth it now.

So nothing has changed for those of us who still strive to keep all fights to 1 round. Thanks for the info though Alex, I wasn't aware of those updates.

Yeah sure we could have fought a proper war and perhaps won but lol the alliance never dropped colonies for that purpose. Came to sit and watch and relax this summer. No one was going to ruin their plans to fight you guys. Sorry

On another note: Mr Apocalypse, no need to send 40 odd squads to my empty colony, especially when an angry Mongol is 2 ticks ahead of you with a mere two squads. Wouldn't want to waste more oil now would we? :D

:mrgreen: from tick 1 - 200 was a nightmare for me... i had to explain over and over the purpose of every chassis to everyone... why you should be building this and that and that and that... :) but hey...damage helped in a way... :lol: with this new update that is... ;) maybe one day micheal will make armor very powerful too... :lol: :mrgreen:

well bro, i guess sooo...?? as what we repeatedly said, its a training round...coordinating bla bla bla... NON serious round... where by situation will be different since there will be real $$$ involve..Nothing personal.. just want to make full use of it, and have fun...and it seems that people can never understand the difference between serious round and non serious round...
