The cached version you are using is probably weeks old. SunabNaverith wrote: Whatever you do with the training cap, I strongly suggest removing it for havoc... and introduce auto-squadding! lol! But I'm a casual player. I currently have over 50k metal and nearly 100k oil... AFTER maxxed structures and a moderate size army (~15 squads). I'm scared to attack anyone, because if they win, I'm screwed because I can't cache-dump those resources into rebuilding. This unit cap thing is incredibly unfair to a casual player like myself, and highly beneficial to no-lifers who CAN get on every 2-6 ticks and keep building, building, building... I played this game because it can cater some to a casual player. If it caters to a 'hardcore gamer' mentality/personality more so now than a casual player, I will have to leave BD behind... even if it IS fun... please don't do that to me . Remember that you can hold down the shift key to select multiple units, click the top left unit in your base squad, hold shift, select the bottom right unit at the bottom of the list and ALL will be selected and it will give you the option to move them to a new squad, existing squad, etc. This little trick also works with selecting squads and you can use ctrl to add specific squads to the selection instead of selecting all in a range.
Hope that helps! -Andrew

this is kibnd of pointless but anyway whn there were unlimited in your base then you had to make one squad at a time i think he means so that if you had no limit in havoc then you could highlight all units you had and order them to go into squads instead of one squad at a time?: thanks andrew i needed to delete all cache

Few comments about the new update... First, music should be off when loading the game, if you want it you can turn it on. What is the point of now having a slide bar to train units if the number of units you can train is now limited?? I dont really like this limitation but I guess i balances the game a bit more and it increases activity. Still no slide bar for spy protection, adding spy protection is so annoying.

Andrew wrote: I'm liking the idea of making training bases more valuable by having a higher training limit. The training limit being tied to soldier count isn't however going to stay because infantry/vehicles get far more advantage over tanks which already were at a disadvantage.
I'm thinking of changing the training limit to 30 units(Any type) In your base colony and 60 units of any type in your training base.
This would even out the training times between the 3 chassis and give a nice bonus to training bases to give them more value as a colony has multiple purposes but a training base has only 1.
What do you guys think of that tweak?
Also about the voting links, they are bugged right now and not showing the countdown when it should be. The countdown not showing is not by design, it's a flaw that's going to be fixed soon. We've got several fixes to the bugs that popped up since the update and will be going in today most likely.
-Andrew Yes! please do this.

Couldnt agree more (well except the music thingy ) But i see no point of a slide bar now you can only make 10-30 units, its quite pointless. I would've rather had it for spy protection.
