Okay, first post. Need help. I recently built 30 extra Infantry units, and my score went down by 20!
I'm a n00b, so one of you is going to have to tell me why this happened. In the server Mars 1 I am called Obesidia, just in case you were wondering.

Thanks.

P.S. Could any of you tell me any easy ways of getting my score up?

When your score goes down, its a good thing. Building extra units gets your score up because the more units you have, the more powerful you are.

Some tips to get a good rank:

Get to a good power score! (this will give you tokens which dramatically increase your score)

Conquer enemies! (this will always give you a slight boost)

Take and build outposts. (The more outposts, the more territory you have.)

Build more structures. (the more advanced structures you have, the more abilities you unlock)

Get more relics, ex: lumber mills, gold mines and relics.

And, Im mostly on galaxy but you can find me on all the fantasy maps. Sometimes Mars...
PM me and i can hook you up with an alliance, (my alliance or the one i'm in) I have a lot of contacts with powerful alliances.
You can find me as:
Commander Rokan
Rokan
Death Ranger

or

Oromis.

Hope I helped you

To answer the original question:

Your score went down 20 points because you used workers that dropped you two levels of "25" worker increments. 503 workers, using 30 workers on a squad will take you down to 473, bypassing the levels 500 and 475. Each interval you drop removes 1 power, and thus 10 score. The following tick, your new 30 units would add back in to that score with +3 power for 30 soldiers for an overall +10 score in the end.

But since he says that he lost score he probably rushed the units causing him to lose more power then he gained.

The lost workers would count instantly, the units wouldn't update until the following tick.

units power updates every time you refresh it, whether or not a tick has passed. so it had to of been because of rushing units.

To all the new people out there. i try to tell this to everyone i meet that does it. dont rush units ever... unless you are getting attacked and only have 1 tick to get units to your colony, there is no need to rush units. it takes away from your income and score.
