Honestly, the weather's been getting more and more erratic the past ten years. Nobody's paid much attention to it though. I don't claim to be an expert, but I do think that much of this can be attributed to us pushing the planet's limits, especially with regards to the atmosphere.

The tectonic plates are direct results of the temperature. As sea temperatures increase even the slightest, the CENSORED STUPID BIO CRAP will cause the tectonic plates to shift more. Basically...

As a person doing a degree in science, I have to call BS. Tectonic plates are barely effected by "temperature" (did you mean climate, or do you not know the difference) considering that they are being exposed to millions of gigawattage of energy daily from radioactive decay to the mantle's heat, to the sun's rays. In short, no.


Secondly @ Wolowitz, you provide outlier phenomenon, then you use nothing but conjecture and fear. Yes, weather is more erratic, yes it is predicted in climate models, no, doesnt mean tsunamis all up in everyone.

We are "overdue" for a very large earthquake. Geologically speaking. Same regarding a volcano. That doesnt mean you take a celebrity psychic predicting four 9.4 earthquakes within the same hour as anything other than ridiculous hog wash.

In short, grow a pair and stop being pansies. No really, there are actual, real, pressing matters that are undergoing and still exist in this world, no need to be afraid of tomorrow if nothing new is gonna come.
