Reading the title, you would say...WTF??? Havoc is too laggish and such...but don't get me wrong...creating heaploads of squads is laggish, but after that the real fun begins....
That's what this guide is about. (duh)
(Updated: 07/05/10)
So...how to enjoy and win your laggish havoc...even with the Unit Limits?
1. Start Early
Well, if you start as early as havoc started, you'll easily conquer colonies. (Colonies are to be priority in such a start)
Most Admins tend to give players VERY MAX resources so watch out for that.
A high-end PC with a fast broadband will avoid too much lag btw.
2. Get REALLY Active!
I'm not saying go almost 24/7 (although doing so WILL 90% somehow ensure victory). I say just be as active as you could. Some admins are giving rewards in havoc so watch out for that. If you are active enough, you can mass-produce more units (and rush them) and turn them to squads...
Seems reasonable enough.
3. Preserve Your Units
As much as possible preserve units. In havoc, assuming you have 1000+ units, every tank is almost 3k! Make use of them wisely and look at the limits of your squads. If you can ensure a victory without casualties on your side, do it!
4. Have Fun!
Ultimately, havoc is a sandbox mode of BD, a testing mode of what happens when u got all that power, so still, even if you lose, you'll only lose a potential satisfaction of a noobish win...or an admin prize of 200 tokens if the admin was offering it...
Still...respect your rivals and learn that it's not as serious as it is...
Hey..when you have all that units, who knows what you can do..(assuming others didn't get it
