Was an interesting era to watch as an admin, but the view from the sky is a little different than the view from the ground. I would love to hear your thoughts and experiences this era! Indulge me! =)

Thanks!

it was one of those sad eras to see, where the top alliance is just handed the relics.but other then that LLn worked hard and fast to bring us a new era of mysteries
congrats

Trust me 89% of the alliance didn't want the relics for free... We were all ready to kill GDF.... spies planted... spams ready... missiles ready.... army in place.... OPs ready to be upgraded to be Training Bases...

It was 1 person (we were 9 at that time) Francium who kept her word... because GDF leader kept his promise... about being friendly...

Long story in short here's how it happened:

First let me tell you how I messed up the starting :D
We were suppose to start all in the middle down island... and I accidentally placed in the middle island... so Francium, Poohipsie and King (Moudi) joined me there... because Francium didn't want to leave an ally in danger in the middle...

Middle had 3 alliances fighting for resource OPs and conquers then... LLn, UI and GDF...

Trajic (IOUUOI) made deals/naps with all the alliances then... we were ranked 4th with 9 members in first 50 ticks... sfinksas didn't join then... he joined later... Michael (why so serious) and Worst Player EU wasn't a part of our alliance either...

around tick 60 all hell broke loose when we started attacking UI... they relocated to the corner... around the same time GDF declared UI their allies and started attacking us too... We killed some of UI and moving towards them when GDF interfered and started attacking us out of nowhere... we turned our attention to GDF then... managed to trap 25 squads of theirs (it was a big deal around tick 150)... and we were attacking with 31 squads... thats when they Francium strike a deal with them... that if they don't bother us we will leave them alone... and they wanted peace with us for era long... and secretly promised not to help UI anymore... then we turned our focus on UI (ranked 1 or 2 around that time)... and chased them to the down left corner... and killed them off...

GDF leader kept his word... gave up all the OPs he took and didn't touch anything anymore... but still we were not happy with them with some of the players' attitude and sniping etc. but Francium put her foot in and held us back... so we kept away from GDF and they handed their relics peacefully around tick 1035...

People keep calling her a liar and a backstabber everywhere which are absolutely baseless allegations... she is one of the most honest players on BD... but remember everything is not always in her control...

In the mean time we did have a lot of problem in GDFz and other GDF subs who tried to spoil the relation but GDF leader managed to keep them away securing his team... we lost Poohipsie (who backstabbed Michael on M1 for the all time best HOF) and then a few days later Trajic (who broke his laptop) and Azeem (OO) who went to home... Poohipsie was replaced by Worst Player EU... who was a UI once then joined our sub LLm and later joined us... the new leader sfinksas invited him because he wanted to join us since the start...

Peaceful alliance nWoT and THY decided to have some fun near the end... although the nWoT leader failed the first time when we managed to upgrade a gate into a TB and protect our relic but succeeded next time when our armies weren't enough to defend the relic....

In the meanwhile THY the alliance right next to our hive which were peaceful and friendly throughout the era decided to have some late era fun making the leader one of the worst player... but they failed miserably...

Thanks to LLm for standing by us the whole era... other alliances became our sub only for the sake of their own protection... but thanks to them for not creating any trouble like THY...

and thanks to GDF leader "Don Vito Corleone" for keeping his words... (although I would have respected him more if he hadn't done that and fought for it :D) yep first 500 ticks wasn't easy for us... cleaning up everything getting our members together... but then it became boring...

towards the last 300 ticks of the era we LLm were trying to spam armor to the point of trying to beat GDF with score . but sadly we didn't succeed although we caught up about 4-5 k, we even had more power than them in the end

regarding war with GDF we too were ready to back up LLn and secure us a 2nd place but that relic giveaway took us by surprise, and sad to say the era was indeed boring after UI was dead.

another kind of accomplishment is that 3 of LLm rank 3 alliance finished top 10 while none of GDF did :o :P

and good job to LC who managed to take advantage of the score update.
and sfinksas who was incredibly active and had a nice power.

one last thing, the loss of conquers towards the end was crazy, i lost over 40 conquers in one day, and about 75 over a week,

It is difficult for me sometimes to watch eras of play end peacefully. On one hand, it is anti-climactic. In war games, we love to see grande battles over relics.

Its all relative though I think. Maybe a peaceful end this era will forge friendships that will result in larger battles and wars next era. Lets hope so! ;)

Thanks all you guys for playing on M2.

We(LLm) were prepared to kill GDF, and together with LLn we had twice the power of GDF and subs(plus we had ensured help from other alliances too). But sadly GDF handed over the relics and that costed us our second rank which was promised by LLn earlier.
