I must say Im dissapointed at something. Usually, when there is a revolution against a #1 alliance that has been #1 for a LOOONG time, the revolutionaries must also want that #1 spot! Instead, they make deals, and the one that gets most of the rank out of the war get the #1 spot and win the frigging era just because there is no1 willing to fight them! I was and still am the BoS leader at e4, and I went alongside BUL5 because they were true to their word and helped me a lot in the early era. I heard a lot of ppl saying they would betray me but they didnt. I have a lot of respect to them and to ARA. But when the revolutions started, most ppl just standed there. I mean, you will never win if you dont do anything... and most alliances just stood there as BUL5 destroyed each of their oponents one on one. This is BD, where it is every alliance for itself. Maybe I was honorbound, but ICC wasnt when VeN started attacking BUL. Nor ARA. They could had united. But didnt. And that dissapoints me. BUL5 deserves the win, but it would had been a much fair era if ppl fough and actually cared for their fates here in BD. Even if the #1 is too tough, you wont win anything if you dont do anything. Launch yourself, you may have a chance! And even if you dont, you will go out knowing you did everything you could to win, and contributed to an era full of competition, sacrifice, and all the things we love of BD!!!!

Very nice post. There is a lot of fear when it comes to a revolution, even if it is the majority against one alliance. Along with that are a lot of "What Ifs" What if one of the stronger alliances drop out and you are alone fighting the top alliance. What if they find out early and take out the alliances that pose a threat? And especially... What if they are too strong? It is crucial that they have a leader that is determined. Someone that can take losses well and keep their head straight. No matter how strong an alliance is, it is possible to beat them. When it comes to sheer numbers, 14 players will always be overwhelmed by thousands. (not including the multis and people who quit early)

I have seen major alliances broken down by others, although it is usually from backstabbing or allies gone hostile. It would be nice to see the world come together against one force though.

Very true, and there is also our instinct of survival, that tells us not to fight. It tells us we could be destroyed if we fight that much-stronger alliance. But what difference does it make? You wont be #1! So youre pretty much dead in that era! A lot of noobs are actually much braver than most experienced BD players! they actually dare to fight everyone because they know they are nothing if theyre not #1! So I wouldnt criticize noobs too much for their "foolish" suicidal bombs: they are actually making BD interesting, and FAIR. It is unfair that the #1 alliance has no1 fighting him because of fear, and the #2 struggling against everyone just because they want the #2 spot rather than the #1!!! People always wants to see the great war between teh #1 and the #2 alliance, but odds are the #1 always wins, jsut because the #2 has much more to worry than the #1! But hey, having so much people under your boot should be a little more problematic, shouldnt it? Its much easier having 3 ppl conquered that 5, except for the fact that maybe 4 of those conquers just leave without even using their resources for 1 last suicide bomb! And sometimes those 3 conquers give their conquerors hell! Hey, I wanna be #1, but I want to feel like I stepped over all those thousands of players just to win, not that I grabbed down the #1 alliance to the bottom and just took his place for the win...

NewVegas, I was in ARA, and once BUL5 made it clear to the world that they where the superpower I was trying to urge ARA into helping any alliance that BUL5 was fighting at the time. But no one wanted to fight them with me. When they where going after ICC, perfect time to hit them, we had thousands of troops in Europe and hundreds in SA we could had easily (Want to be allies? Sometimes I like to pretend I am a princess riding a pony..) up BUL5 while they where in antartica, at least for a little while for people to realize they are not untouchable. But no, #1 reason why we didn't "they are heavy supporters we would never win". But o well, was still a fun round. shoulda woulda coulda.

Yea, its always the same story. But the best war Ive ever fough... I was in a rank 30 alliance (leading) vs a 50 rank or something alliance. Of course this is low... but we were always on edge. We were just starting out the era, my alliance got a bad start and couldnt get going. they come here, and despite being less rank they were more active than us! And most of my members were apart from the hive, and the war didnt last long but we were always at out edge, nt having freedom to even hope 4 the best. We won despite all of our ups and downs and the fact we were all conquered, we woke up, fough and won, but it was an incredible joy to know we fought with all we had, and that they did too and we still pulled through... I believe top alliances should feel this joy, and also the incredible feeling youre at the top of a mountain made by the skulls of your victims, not just the towels that everyone threw at ya.

I look forward to a revolution,a challenge in other words...Its to quiet i say we march and destory everything in a 40 tick radius just to insure no revolution...If it were up to me some of the alliances by us wouldve died already lol but i guess thats why they say im a warmonger lol

SOB*** That was the best written speech I have ever heard....I was in the rank 2 alliance and I felt the same way. They decided to ally with rank one so I left and went all out on the rank 1, 2 and 3 alliances ending in 14 conquers and me getting rank 13. (But I soon got to rank 56 due to rank 1 killing me with 168 squads XD LOL!!!)
