but it's more hardcore, more planning in less time

It seems from my experience most players play it because they want to play in spurts of a few hours and be able to get a lot done in a short amount of time, and then they are fine being off for a few hours...

Rather than in single tick, where things happen slower but players are not as content to miss things, more people can react to changing circumstances and it's more about responding correctly to threats, rather than simply responding at all...

Which is why I think it's not hardcore.

I'm on F3 in the number one alliance after reppeling ISKC a second time and now their troops are minimum, so now they are just handing their relics over to an ally of theirs. Theres nothing like bad losers and plus this whole server is now pure politics, who plays a game for politics? Where is the fight and then the well deserved reward? at this rate we'll have to go through 8+ alliances to get those relics because ISKC cant take losing.

Gotta say hes right, its a bit ridiculous on that world now really, ISKC are poor losers who will do anything to make sure that nothing of value goes to anyone but themselves. They lose their armies, they leave the alliance, let those who are left have them, and delete their colonies, they lose a war, they send all their relics over to another alliance and make it so that we all have to fight yet another powerful alliance just to get them, its getting to the point where the game is not fun what-so-ever. Its just all about who can cross the world the most times in a week, or who can donate enough to do it.

A note that I am going to change the rules of this event so that in case there is not a 10 relic win the alliance with the highest score will be the winner and get the bonus token reward.

After watching the round for a while it seems like it may be a close one so I am going to tweak the rules here to make sure that the winners of this pretty close round get rewarded for a deserved victory.
