"The Golden Seagul of Suck" It flys!!! wow thats amazing. And its made out of gold because of the cost and you can easily move out of the way before it tries and poops on you. SO in otherwords it sucks.
I laughed hard after reading that. It is harsh, but it is still hilarious! "Flying Seagull of suck"!?! Priceless!
Did things pan out for you Kirtis?

I got confirmation on the delete colony feature, it was something that was intended to be removed. I listed it as update #5 on the first post of this thread and the reasoning behind the change as well. It was added in but not noted so it was forgotten, sorry about that one guys.
The new BD Testers group is fast reporting all the bugs from the updates and helping us greatly in finding them and testing them out so make sure to thank them! The next update planned is to include Unit Experience, chat upgrades(Channel list!) upgrades to the territory feature and if we can squeeze it in the horizontal scrolling map, connecting the east and west edges of the map together! Good things to come .

Quote: 5.) Delete colony - This option was removed from the client for a few reasons: a) Facebook users(Who were automatically registered via facebook and not linked to an existing BD account) are unable to delete their accounts. b) Colonies deleting themselves to remove the taxation that conquerors receive from therem. c) There's no real need to delete a colony due to the fact that most colonies delete after 8 days anyways, 16 if a supporter. There's no real issue with space on almost all worlds. ^ Ok.. so catering to facebook people is a reason to punish the people who play the game not on facebook? You basically screwed the people who play thru the game link and not in facebook. This update number pretty much sucks. The reason if you hate the person is to piss them off and delete so they dont get your tax.. now for the reason you cant even delete make is even stupid. Might as well kill vacation mode as well. If you hate your conquer.. why should they benefit from conquering you. You should be able to delete. Plus if you wanted to restart in the game on the same world.. you have to wait 16 more days to redo it and instead of restarting. You royally screwed this up. By doing this.. You are enabling people who got conquered to make multi's and therefore banning occurs. And when the banning occurs you will lose those customers. Atleast give them a chance to restart without them waiting 8 days cause they will forget instead of 24 ticks. Your killing the new players. Normally I am against saying this because those people delete and lose conquers.. but if you want people to stay playing give them the option to restart there colony.

All the removal of deleting has done is removed a means of poor sportsmanship
YOU CONQUERED ME?! DELETE
YOU'RE ABOUT TO CONQUER ME?! DELETE
^ I will not miss these things

Being conquered has no effect on your production, rebelling has no effect on your production... why would you want to restart? All that would do is set you back and lose the progress you've already made with your colony.

Sometimes players would want to delete because of their name... You can now ask your world admin to change your name. So no reason to have delete colony.

We felt that the pros outweigh the cons of removing this feature seeing as colonies delete relatively quickly and deleting conquers is frustrating for conquerors as they often lose several units to take a conquer and then when they delete they get nothing for it. This was the primary reasoning behind removing the feature, the fact that facebook users cannot delete their accounts was simply what brought up the idea and was not the spearhead issue.

The no deleting thing is fine with me... it seems that it might keep my conquers from deleting... anyways they get deleted anyway in 6 days
