I tried to conquer a colony but I can't 'cause I'm conquered myself. But can I conquer outposts?

Also, what's the use of the satellite scan? I tried to use but nothing happens but that blue dot.

Thanks!

You can still capture outposts while you are conquered.

Sat scans allow you to see outposts and squads for a duration of time without having to build a radar

*cough* simmen trying for more members *cough*

Anyway basically you can capture OP's etc.... Sat scans is when you click on the colony or OP and click on sattelite scan. Once thats done click on the exclamation mark aka events and click on the results of the san!

Putting a sat scan works to your advantage if you put it out of your current radar range or else it just basically doesn't help you. Just zoom out until you see shapes so you know exactly how much radar coverage you have from your colony and/or alliance (with radar ops ofcourse included)

Um, no. That is a military scan. And from his/her post I assume s/he knows where the button is and how to launch. Most likely s/he launched the sat scan over his/her existing radar coverage since s/he didn't see anything different.
