i got 1300 oil, and my units are un-able to make it back in time... im in a bad spot  anyways, should i build as many damage as i can to defend, or range? i got 1300 oil, and im being attacked by 80 infantry, and i got about 30 O.o please help fast xD

Depends... How many attacking units are there? Your best bet would be to mix in some damage and armour, if you can't get a large army there quickly enough.

supposing the attacker use the pro build a 50/50 % armour damage is best answer if u can outnumber him
100 ranged vs 50 armor,50 dmg ranged wins with 87% loses any other percentages diminish rangers loses
in ur case with 1 squad armour and 1 squad dmg u win and keep ur rangers
