This is something I've been spending the better part of three months on (way too long, I've restarted multiple times). Thought I'd share it with you, its for a video game project a friend and I are working on. Female protagonist.
Sorry its so large, its HD.

the head looks... unbalanced... it's quite big compared to the body I think

Hm, I see that. It's meant to have a sort of anime feel too it, hence the reason of why the eyes are so large compared to the head, which I think makes it seem large. Thanks
