I think its inevitable that parents get involved in guiding children towards their own beliefs. What else are they gonna do?
But that doesnt mean the children will take after religion. I grew up in a Catholic (father) and Hindu (Mother) household. I was raised Catholic, but I am now a staunch anti-theist and atheist. Especially an anti-theist.
But yes, pressuring children and putting them through emotional turmoil because of their beliefs is wrong.
