Ok, lets create a scenario here:
Colony A = Target
Silo A = Origin of nuke
Outpost A = Origin of attack
If squads are sent from outpost A to colony A with a nuke from silo A to land on the same tick, the attacking squads WON'T be damaged.
But, if the attacking squads are sent from silo A and the nuke is also sent from silo A then they WILL be damaged on impact.
Weird I know, happened to me once, asked others about it and they say it happens to them too so it's not a glitch.
