we all agree, change rules during a round is unbearable.
Also, not sure if players really prefer these new rules.

i dont get the point to totally change the spy system.
it was good like it was before.

these new spy rules, you know why you hate havoc, cz it's ion-canon fun-fair.
with new spy rules, it will be "spy-voc", they should change the game name for "Spy Dawn".
After some days, there are several spies in each outpost, and in all colonies.

with 50 E for 50 SP on your colony, is anything.
It is way too expensive, impossible to be protected enough when everyone can have 150.000 spies. You will be spied 10 times a day.
No way to have enough SP now.

you can do what you want with your game, but with your "Spy-voc", too much is too much. Original spirit of the game is totally changed. If people leave your game, you will know why, and will be your fault.

i wish a return with the past spy system, 1 spy, or 2 spies if you like, but not 150.000. It was much more interesting and strategic.
If you find it was not enough spies, so test with 2 spies each player.

so for me, your new rules : i vote zero.

We can't implement new rules server after server. We can only change the whole game all at once.

The alliance limit can be changed server after server is becuz the admin can determine the alliance limit for each server. While the new rules, we can't.

And about the havoc, who cares? I won't even care if the admin drop all the price for recruiting, troop sending, spy attacking, etc. Cuz it's for fun, if u don't want to, then don't play on havoc. Havoc is only a break for the admins to prepare for the new round, and also a chance for the new players to enjoy the mighty of 200 squads. Experienced players can use this to troll their alliances, by leaving the alliance and attack them. And some don't even care about havoc at all.

I've played in several eras and I could say that I can see almost all the spies in my alliance sit in the base and generate spy infiltration ticks, which is useless. I don't even recruit a spy myself and get no spy attack in a whole round. Now tell me which one is more useless.

if you like these new spy rules, glad for you, but i dont like them, for the reasons i explained, and i made it short or i will write a book.

havoc, of course, i dont play it, and now we have "Spy-voc", so it's the same. In first one, it's abuse of resources, in second it's abuse of spies.
newbies love havoc, they will love "Spy-voc".
xp players wont like it, and if they quit, you know why.


if you didnt use your spy before, didnt even recruit one, and were never spied, so you are not a player, you just sit and dont play. In my alliance, we used it, a lot.

if you need to know, i think i played much more rounds than you did, and i drived my alliance to several victories, so i am not a newbie, i know what i talk about so i allow myself to interfer in this forum, to say i dont like these new spy rules, with simple and short words, to confirm what lots people said before.

for "Spy-voc", i vote : zero

p.s. : also, rules change each 4 mornings. Some updates are good and interesting. These new spy rules are not.

now, i wont interfer more in this forum, i shortly said what i think, i wont go in useless and endless discussions. Everyone have his opinion. I dont like these spy rules, it's abuse of spies, point.
I rarely interfer in forums, but for this spy-update, i must.
for other updates, they are good ones, except alliances reduced to 10 members. I prefered before with 12 and 14.

yup, I myself don't like havoc. Unless I do wat I told u, leave the alliance and attack them for fun. But new players do. And the havoc will, some way, encourage them to play again.

The old spy attacks, well, people use that. But they aren't that much powerful. With the new spy system, they are powered up, hence become a much more powerful weapon, overpowered if I must say. That's why they have a tweak in the energy so that people won't spam spies without a second thought.

The really experienced players (OC) will have played a version of the game with FAR more spies with no restrictions of where or how many.

XP players who know how to use spies both for attacks and defense will love this as it allows more strategy. And note that the spy revamp isn't complete yet, there will still be some tweaking. And for the record, you won't have 10 spies that can move around. What you have is 1 spy who can plant up to 10 stationary agents who can be used once before disappearing.

Krypton is not a new player and knows well how to use spies. And believe me ...his is not sitting lazy on his colony.

However you did not reply to his comment that spy prodection is too expensive copaired to too many agents...you can be spy attacked every move you make.... The whole map is plant agents...and since you can lock down while the op belongs to you...its outragous. We will keep locking each other.


Also you did not reply to his comment of changes within an era. You cant change rules in between. It makes a mess especially if as you mentioned the idea is not completed yet.

Please reconsider these rules

Well, my response to the spy protection being to expensive was that we're not done tweaking. I think a tweak will come some time this weekend. But since I'm not 100% certain, I can't give out the information, sorry. But I'm guessing a post from Michael will be done soon.

As for the updates mid game, its unfortunately the only way to do it as long as we're working with hard-coded info, which is something we need to do. If there was a way that didn't cause major inconvenience for us, we wouldn't implement it mid round.

these new spy rules are very, very bad.

after a short test period, there are spies everywhere, lockdown in each op, non-stop, colonies spied 10 times a day.

impossible to play, it become completely random and alea, no skill anymore, but just spy-parties.
It's ABUSED.

no one can add SP in each op, no one can add enough SP in their colony, but everyone have spies everywhere.

i dont know where you are going, if you find it funny, but really, it's now un-playable, anything.

that game is RUINED, too bad.
