I strongly disagree with the score updates, rank one teams may get ahead and why is that? experince, hard work, activity etc, it is fair to reward the less dedicated players of your game? If players want competition they should put in the effort that the rank one team is... I guess I am biased to change from the ever increasing gap from old client.. but other updates seem ok, however it will be intresting to see how each one plays out, even the ones I disagree with..

not really, we're not rewarding the less dedicated players. Alliances will wage war against equal or higher rank alliances in order to get score, while they have to be more caution cuz the lower rank ones will try to do the same. This may make them to be more active and competitive.

if u are not active and fight, u'll mostly lose... and the amount of power and score u lose will be much more than the score u get...

if u are not active and... win... then maybe the one who they attacked / attacked them is not good enough, and they deserved the win and the score...

To everyone that has problems with the changing of voting blues, I don't see what's the problem?

With the old voting blues non-boosters get the same amount as boosters do. With the new voting blues non-boosters still get the same amount as boosters do, except that now everyone gets daily resources, which is harder to abuse than blues/account are...

Thank you all for taking part here. Even if we don't agree on everything, it is important to have these discussions, and to be as productive and informative as we can.

I completely understand the concerns each and every one of you have. I understand the concern that removing some of the blue tokens for voting gives the impression that we are leaning toward supporters on this issue. Please understand that this is simply not true. Lowering the blue tokens from voting is an attempt to mitigate abuse of the blue tokens feature, and is in no way connected to any of the other updates (save #3, which is intended to help balance any blue token shortfall).

As for the battle system change, this is an attempt to try and balance the competetive nature of the game, and especially to inspire people to stay competetive later in games when rounds of play tend to become stagnant. It is these late game times, when the top alliances are WAY out in front from everyone else that people tend to just give up and throw in the towel because there is simply no way to catch up. It is our hope that this will be alleviated to some degree.

Don't get us wrong, we know that this is likely imperfect, and will need some tweaking as we go. This is natural, because quite simply, we cannot know exactly how, where or why parts of it will need to be tweaked until we see how it affects things once it is applied. Little things like 'removing score from those who lose' may or may not become a necessity. We do not know yet, and none of us will until we see how it pans out. Please rest assured that the end game for us is quite simply "improvement of the BattleDawn experience".

With the added incentive of 200 blue tokens for purchases over 1000 reds, it is quite simple. Funds are a little low, and we need to bring the coffers back up to a nominal point, or we could begin to face hard times. No one wants that. For us it means hard times. For you, it means a diminished experience playing BattleDawn.

So, please keep this in mind moving forward. Please also understand that even if I (we) do not seem to agree with you in our stance on these updates, it in no way means that we are looking past you. These feedback threads are HUGELY important to this process. So, once again, thank you for taking the time to read and respond to the opinions in this thread.

You are the community. You are the elite of BattleDawn. Without you, there is no us. ;)

I'm mainly a non-booster and I don't feel that this benefit boosters that much

the votes offer blue, first is to award players who vote and spread the news about Battle Dawn in the way of bringing it to the top positions in such ranking sites.

however, let's be straight here, how many times have you done the whole voting process, including entering the captcha and such? I know I haven't done that for at least a year but I still get 50 blue a day, how does that seem fair.

And the voting sites being taken out is becuz they repeated themselves several times, and some of the voting sites died out, so it's common sense to remove it, not to keep the link to a dead site.

U missed the point of voting, it's not to take free blue, it's to make BD more well-known hence bring more ppl to the game.

If you still want to get the same amount of token for voting, I suggest BD to make it so that you can only get blue when you have done all the voting procedures, after you have really voted for BD, not after u click the link and close it down without even let the site load.

WAIT   i always thought you had to really vote to get blues not open te link then close it and seth if thats the abuse of voting then you should make it if you vote only not when you open because sometimes i open the site but close it wrongly and i still get tokens so not all mean to abuse it

I could see how this could be true there should be a level playing field for all members.

I like most of the new updates. However, I believe that lowering the amount of tokens received per vote is a bad idea. It isn't fair to players who don't boost reds. It will cause even more of a gap between the powerful red boosting players and the average players like me. It won't really be as fun.

The real game is...as my mind understand.

Battle Dawn Supporter buy reds by their Funds>>>>that funds goes to BD>>>BD pay for servers...developers & other stuff>>>>the game on & going on>>>Free for everyone.

Which day BD Supporter Stop buy reds>>>Then U can't play free :)

So my guesses don’t have to so pushy about Red Booster, @ end of the day they really help to BD....

One more thing...I saw just BD gives free blues everyday...other u have limited choice or else you have to pay to get Stuffs.

Thanks
Hunt

we already discussed about that, the problem is that the "process done verification" rarely work (just like the survey system). If we do this we'll have chance (if not all the time) that we won't get blue from voting at all.
