For the lazy people who don’t want to hear my life story, scroll down a little for the conclusion =P My name is Liam Aharon, I’m 15 years old and it’s time for me to leave.
Three and a half years ago, when I was 11 and a half years old I moved states, countries, schools and town which put into a situation where from a lack of kids my age, made it was impossible to have a real social life. That was when I turned to the internet. I started up with RuneScape; that MMORPG so many love and I once loved too. It opened up my life to the amazing social possibilities of the internet and I never looked back. I made so many friends there, it was great. Unfortunately, they were all much older than me, so I simply bumped my age up by one year to help me fit in. All was good.
I quit RuneScape after some time and after a couple of games which couldn’t manage to steal my attention for more than one month at a time I found BattleDawn.
The first time I played BattleDawn I placed in Madagascar. I joined a semi-active alliance which I had a real, great time in. Unfortunately, they all went inactive at around tick 750 so I joined BULe, a sub alliance of the alliance BUL5 lead by Avi Turg. We went around killing things and having the time of our lives. With Avi’s guidance and my alliance member’s company it was by far the best round that I’d ever experienced and I thank everybody who played that era very much for that.
From this round I thank:
After BUL5 won the round (our sub in 2nd place), I decided to create an alliance of my own and test my leadership skills. I did very well for my second round, our alliance holding rank 1 at tick 1000. Unfortunately, a backstab from some allies up north while we were at war with the rank 2 alliance caused us to lose the round, but it was great anyways.
After that round I started pushing my way into the ‘experienced’ category of players and winning some eras and basically had the best time of my life.
During the middle of my playing career that I joined the forums, yes that place built in text and awesomeness. Shortly after being perma banned from there I was recruited as a mod (you’ll have to ask somebody else about that story as it would be far too long for me to post here), worked by as s off and was promoted within 2 weeks, I decided to leave the game and focus on modding.Newbies who don't like walls of text, you may start reading here.Around December, I was informed that I’d be moving into town. I assumed that I’d just balance out my social life with BD, but it seems that now that I’ve seen RL again I have to say that that’s not the case. Only been back at a real school for three days now and the girls, friends, homework etc are just too much for me. I think that I’ve learned all that is possible to learn from BattleDawn and think that it’s time for, after 2 long years, to take a break.
I’d like to say sorry to Apollo and the rest of WS for leaving mid-era but I figure it’s best to leave now then to let you down at tick 750 when there’s war and I can’t be around. Best of luck, I’m sure you’ll do well.
People I’d like to thank (in no particular order):
Seth For his kindness, guidance and life skills that I KNOW will be a huge help for me in real life. I cannot thank you enough, best of luck in RL and I hope to maybe see you around some day.
Avi Turg For his guidance and kindness as I took my first shaky steps into BattleDawn.
Alvin For his friendship and kindness during my first era, thanks a lot.
Zoftthelast, for the sleepless nights you stayed up with me, attacking newbs and owning Asia. >=)
Skwrel, for the guidance you gave me in my first couple of days in BD, without you I wouldn’t be here today.
Michael Michael, thank-you. Without you and your game I may not have stayed sane over my years of isolation, I also thank you very much for agreeing to have a chat while in Israel, it was defiantly one of the highlights of my trip.
Goldenpaw You’ve always been there to back me up when I fall a little slack with the AANC, you’ve always managed to remind me to update SotW and smashed those Wiki bots to high heaven ... You really did deserve that mod position, thanks.
Dawnice Man, what can I say? You sure are a youngin’ but you’re maturity and basic skills HIGHLY outweigh most of the people that I’ve met on BD. I’ll really miss you man.
Jake Jake..Quite litterly a love-hate relationship. So many times I’ve wanted to strangle that little neck of yours then kiss it with passion the next minute. I’ve seen you grow up throughout your time at BD and I’m sure you’ll have a great life.
Simmen The super hero who saved me from a fatal perma ban, kept me entertained for hours on end and helped make my life as a mod a good one. Thank you very much, I hope that whatever you chose to do in your life works out.
Hal You opened my eyes and helped me take a different, better look at the world. For that, I thank you.
Tenk Tenk, babe – I love you. Thanks for keeping the forums alive and I’ll miss you a lot.
Allen Yes, that Indian named Allen. Thanks for keeping Avi’s head thinking straight and giving me a good laugh every once and a while. It’s been great, thanks again.
Aister Ai, love, babe, sexy hun, bub, awesomeo, I wuv ya and will miss ya <3
Ryan Most unique personality I’ve ever seen, thanks for the laughs, hope life goes well.
Carl Thanks for the fun in RoL, I’ll never forget you XD
Ilona Thanks for hearing me out, the guidance you gave me and well, parenting you gave me. I really appreciate it and wish you the very best of luck.
Tom Sharon Damn best personality right here, you have everything going for you and you were defiantly my best mate in RoL. Hope life goes well for you, I love ya man. Thanks for everything.
Tom Routh Thank-you very much Tom for putting so much faith into me after being perma banned, without you I’d prolly have never become a mod or met any of these amazing people.
VaultDweller Yeah, I know that we haven’t had a chat is AGES but back in the day I don’t think there was anybody’s company I enjoyed more than yours. Hope all’s well over there and FO3 FTW!
Alliances I’d like to thank:
BUL5 For the guidance & protection you gave me in my first era of BD
BULe For that awesome first round we played together. Best evvaa!!
HU For putting up with my terrible leadership skills, thanks for the round =P
NWL For helping get myself known around the larger players, you were a great help and thanks.
RoL For the best experience I’ve ever had on the internet, (apart from some certain videos which cannot be linked on this forum =S) thank-you.
If I forgot you, very sorry and thank-you. <3 Anyways, one last HUGE thank-you to you all for keeping me sane and giving me this awesome ride. It was a pleasure working with all of you and I’m honored to be leaving with the title of Sr Mod. I may consider coming back to BD in a couple of years after I finish school but atm, I’m afraid that it’s impossible.
Before I drop my title as Sr, I’d like to do one last thing and that is to recomend Jake & Dawnice for a promotion, Maxattack to fill up the Jr slot and GoldenPaw to be promoted to take my place as Sr if he keeps up all this work.
Well, here I go. Stepping off this void into that place called real-life. I’ll miss you ALL so much, wish me luck and good-bye. =(

As I said on skype. There is no way to quit BD. But it is possible to take long breaks when needed. Take your time, then come back when you have time. You have been a great help, you're a great guy and we'll all miss you. Take care of yourself, and come by the forum when you got time But for now, bye

You pulled a move, that I am/was so close to pulling. The edge seems so near.
Not gonna try to keep you, I know how it feels to be overwhelmed with everything... just like back in the last week of December, you remember me then? Can't really put what I want to say into words. Well, just don't forget us (if you do, my flying cow army will murder you in your sleep - I will know), and don't hide on Skype. Will miss you for sure.

Thanks, guys. I'll try to make an effort to drop by the forum every so often - this shouldn't be the last you'll see of me.
