I think players should be able to destroy their own colony. I have a few eras that I feel fell apart and I think I should have the option just to destroy them rather than my colony getting in the way.

That's definitely an insane idea to destroy your colony, falling apart is a part of the game and I think you really have to deal with it.

I would say no as this would cause too many conquers to be deleted.
