Aw thanks greeny! Greeny has graciously shown us what the 5th place alliance would look like :D

Heres what a number 1 alliance looks like

I'll just go ahead and say it:

Quickest way from A (Not powerful) to B (POWAHHH!) is to boost and stay active.

Boosting gives you exactly what it implies: A boost.

Activity is the ONLY way to succeed at BD. Having units on your colony is as useless as having Greeny on your team ;). So always keep moving as much as you can, OP to OP, Conquer to Conquer.

Best way to maintain power: NEVER fight a losing battle.

-Pete

gotta disagree, activity is not the only way to succeed in BD. An awesome team who u can coordinate well, understand and play to support ur weakness is another factors to win the game.

also communication, all the coordination with members as well as other alliances.

Well now you are just arguing for the sake of arguing.

Good luck coordinating with people who don't log on. Activity is BY FAR the most important thing. Good alliances stem coordination and communication from activity of their members but without active players, you cannot win. Well unless you are playing F4 ;)

And what kind of "Awesome team" isn't active :-P

I could agree with Aister by saying that it really only requires 1 active member on a team if they are able to get a hold of the other members. For example I am always more active than most players even when I consider my activity sub par since I am that way I can call, text, whatsapp, or skype my other members to get on when I need them for a big attack or to defend. It really does only take 1 extremely active and many alliances have proven that.

Id much rather have 10 ;)

And logging on when people call you is what I would consider active. Inactive players are the ones who ignore phone calls. In my opinion at least :D

And with 100k reds and lackluster activity you might place 2nd in E6 :D

Yea, I'm talking about you SoLD.

-Pete

wow pete, you know nothing about SoLD, yes i am a SoLD member but i remember we used strategy and our activity better than just boosting and hoping it will help us, we pulled through wars that we wouldn't of if there was no team work, or strategy, i want to say thank you to leaders such as edi, uni and xeeron who led SoLD in eras on e2 and e3 :)
